Villa's kids ended the league programme with a 2-2 draw at Norwich.

Andreas Weimann put the Young Lions ahead on 10 minutes as he met Harry Forrester's free-kick from the left with a far-post header.

Villa should have built on the lead as the first-half progressed but were left to rue missed chances as the hosts hit back with two penalties to lead at the interval.

Tony McAndrew's youngsters laid siege to the Canaries goal in the second-half and were eventually rewarded as Marc Albrighton levelled matters 20 minutes from time.

McAndrew told www.avfc.co.uk: "It was disappointing not to win, but we played some good stuff and the boys showed plenty of character to come from behind." Villa now have a two-week break before returning to action in the end of season play-offs.
