Leicester 0-4 VILLA
Villa's under 18's continued their fantastic run of form with what coach Tony McAndrew described as 'the best performance of the season.'
Barry Bannan scored the first goal as Villa dominated their hosts, the opposition keeper was forced into a number of good saves and Villa were well worth their lead going into half time.
In the second half the defence weathered an early spell of pressure and Bannan scored two more goals to complete the hat trick.
Then on full time, substitute James Collins completed the rout, finishing off a training ground free kick to make it 4-0.
McAndrew continued, 'Leicester has historically been a difficult place for us to play, but I feel this result has got the monkey off our backs. We were dominant in all areas of the game, our physicality was superb and at times we passed them off the park. I am absolutely delighted with the lads and to cap the game off with a free kick we practiced on the training ground this week was very satisfying.'
