Villa produced a second half masterclass as Tony McAndrew's side beat Bristol City 4-1.

Villa struggled in the first period and went in at 1-0 down at half-time, courtesy of an early penalty.

But they came out firing after the break and played some cracking football. After an own-goal equaliser, James Collins tapped in at the far post from a Will Ricketts corner to make it 2-1.

Nathan Delfouneso made it 3-1 before Barry Bannan volleyed home in the last minute to complete the scoring.

VILLA: Parish; Ricketts, Baker, Roome, Clark; Albrighton, Bradley, Forrester, Bannan; Collins, Delfouneso. Subs: Griffiths (for Bradley), Clancy (for Delfouneso).
