Villa's kids bounced back to winning ways with a controversial, but deserved 2-1 victory at Watford.

Ciaran Clark grabbed a hotly disputed winner seven minutes from time, as his header from a corner was judged to have crossed the line.

The Hornets protested the ball had been cleared to safety, while Villa were convinced Clark had scored and the match officials backed the Young Lions.

Earlier Zoltan Stieber had given Villa a 15^th minute lead, but the hosts levelled matters 20 minutes from time.

Villa were good value for the three points though and head into a two-week break with a record of 10 wins from 14 outings this term.
