Villa's kids maintained the 100 per cent start to the season with an emphatic 4-1 victory against Fulham.

Goals from Zoltan Stieber, Damian Bellon, Tobias Mikaelsson and Danny Earls secured the points and Villa could easily have doubled the scoreline.

A slow start to proceedings saw both sides struggling to impose themselves in the opening minutes.

Stieber almost broke the deadlock on six though as he linked up with Harewood and Earls before firing a low angled drive into the side netting.

The Hungarian did open the scoring two minutes later though, rounding off a superb sweeping five-man move by slotting low past Fulham keeper Brooks-Meade.

Harewood might have doubled the lead with a powerful run into the box on 13, but had to settle for a corner as Omoziusi scrambled the ball behind.

As Villa continued to dominate possession, Damian Bellon fired over the bar with an angled effort on 17.

Timlin fired narrowly over the bar from the edge of the box on 27 as Fulham created a rare opportunity from a well worked corner kick routine.

Brooks-Meade denied Harewood on 31 as the striker powered his way into the Fulham box. The keeper was also on hand to block Mikaelsson's low shot seconds later.

Moncur almost levelled for the visitors three minutes before the break, firing narrowly over the bar with a rising 20-yard drive.

Villa's response was immediate and Watts did well to head Stieber's dangerous right-wing cross wide with Mikaelsson waiting to pounce. Harewood then fired inches wide with a shot on the turn on 44.

Mikaelsson was denied by Brooks-Meade's acrobatic save deep into stoppage time as he found space in the Fulham box.

Harewood came close to adding a second for Villa seconds after the restart, but fired narrowly wide from the edge of the box.

Fulham defender Leijer did well to head Stieber's left-wing cross behind on 51 as the young winger again made his presence felt.

With Villa keeper Bevan yet to be called into action, Hudson-Odoi fired over from distance on 53.

Damian Bellon emphatically doubled Villa's lead on 57, powering home as he met Mikaelsson's header back across goal from Stieber's right-wing cross.

Mikaelsson made it 3-0 on 60, neatly slotting home as Fulham failed to clear an Earls cross from the left.

Lowry did well to deflect Hudson-Odoi's close range effort past the post on 66. But the visitors reduced the arrears moments later as Bevan could only parry a Brown drive and Watts scrambled the ball over the line.

Fulham's joy was shortlived though and Earls restored Villa's three-goal advantage on 67, meeting a Stieber flick and rifling home a low angled drive.

Villa sub Collins almost found Mikaelsson with a powerful right-wing cross on 74 as MacDonald's men continued to create chances.

Delfouneso was the next to try his luck on 85, racing onto Yago Bellon's through ball and firing just past the upright. Stieber then fired wide with an angled shot from 25 yards.

Stieber almost added a spectacular fifth in stoppage time, but saw his swerving 25-yard drive rattle the outside of the post.
