Lower Holte Enders - we need you!

We have charged you with a very important task. We need you to raise your new supporter flag proudly for the first time before the Villa v Wigan game.

We ask you to take your seats 15 minutes before kick-off to get ready for the new initiative. The flag is very big and the simple fact is, if the Lower Holte End isn't full at this time, we won't be able to deploy the flag before kick-off.

The flag's journey will start at the corner of the Holte End and Trinity Road and move upward a short distance before we rely on you to move the banner horizontally rather than vertically.

The flag - which measures 25 metres by 25 metres - will be passed above heads as the players emerge from the tunnel.

It is hoped the new "symbol" will help improve the already fantastic mood on a match day.
