The Board of Directors of the Club is delighted to announce the appointment of Duncan Riddle, who currently runs the club's successful Football in the Community programme, as overall Head of Community.

Duncan has been with the company for four years and was previously with the Birmingham County FA. He has extensive knowledge of both community & football development issues locally and his experience of running Aston Villa's Indoor Academy and its successful schools football programme will compliment the Club's core business, as a Premier League football club.

Aston Villa has always been extremely active in the local community, either directly through its Football in the Community programme and Community Affairs operation, or indirectly by providing resources to the recently created Aston Villa Radio Community Interest Company.

The Board of Directors wish Duncan every success in his new role.
